Luminecta Studio is an intimate space that aims to foster the learning and experience of rejuvenating yogic and ayurvedic-based practices that can help counter the impacts of modern stresses. Experiencing the fruits of these simple practices can teach us the value of finding space in our lives for meaningful daily self-care, revitalization, and inner awareness. For many individuals, hours spent on computers and cell phones can cause imbalances in prana (life force or vital energy) and numerous other challenges physically, mentally, and spiritually. Many wonderful yogic practices and philosophies can be implemented in daily life to help rejuvenate energies and restore balance.

The studio embraces elements of Ayurveda and Vāstuśāstra (Vedic science of design and bringing life into form) to encourage the flow and balance of prana within the space, supporting naturally restorative and balancing experiences during sessions. You will be surrounded by plants and elemental features that breathe life into the space and are innately supportive of healing yogic practices.  We focus on small group and individual sessions that will leave you feeling renewed and restored. We are best known for our comfortable, relaxing sound baths and healing sessions, held weekly at the studio and available for private bookings. Our intimate setting is unique in Santa Fe.

Many of the studio offerings incorporate sound-based practices and emphasize sense dhāraṇā (dharana). Sense dharanas, or sense concentration practices, can be a powerful tool for developing inner awareness and self-healing. In yoga and ayurveda, sound (including our thoughts and speech) is intimately connected to prana, our life force energy. The thoughts, mental impressions, and vibrations we experience daily play an important role in our ability to balance prana and maintain well-being. Sound baths and sound meditation can assist us in cleansing these inner vibrations and restoring our natural balance.

The studio is tucked away upstairs in the beautiful historic Sena Plaza courtyard (No. 72), directly above the Heritage by Hand shop. The Sena Plaza is located just off the main Santa Fe plaza, across from St. Francis Cathedral and the IAIA Museum. Walkable from hotels in the plaza area. Parking ($2/hr) is also available in the lot behind Sena Plaza.
