Gentle Vinyasa & Warm Stone Sound Bath
This class will guide you through a mindful flow of poses, allowing you to connect with your breath and cultivate a sense of stability and centeredness. You will settle into a soothing sensory meditation, where you will be invited to rest and restore while experiencing a gentle sound bath with warm stones placed on vital energy points, supporting embodied awareness and the balanced flow and rejuvenation of energy within the body and mind. This gentle evening yoga class is designed to release tension, ground the energy within the body, and calm the nervous system. You will begin with a series of gentle yoga poses and breathing practices to release tension and stabilize the mind. As the class progresses, you will be guided into a calming sound bath to bring you into a peaceful inner space, where the body and mind can deeply rest and restore. Mysore Style Ashtanga Vinyasa
Mysore style Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga can be attended by both beginners and more advanced practitioners. It is the more traditional approach to learning yoga asana (postures), where each student learns and advances at their own pace and gradually memorizes the postures over time, receiving individual guidance and attention from their teacher. This style of learning is deeply personal, and particularly important as you progress through more advanced asanas, to ensure safety and proper technique. All are welcome to join this class and experience the opportunity to study in the Mysore style. It is best if students commit to regular practice and to the memorization of the asana sequence associated with their level of practice or as instructed by their teacher.

Essential Warm Stone Sound Bath
Rejuvenate and restore through the gentle sounds of gong, crystal, and Himalayan singing bowls, with warmed stones placed on balancing and calming energy points. A light, guided meditation will open and close the practice. Yoga mats, comfortable back pillows, bolsters, blankets, and eye pillows are provided for comfort throughout the session. It is recommended that only a light meal be consumed within the 2 hours before the session.

Sivananda Yoga
Sivananda Yoga, from the lineage of Sri Swami Sivananda, offers a structured sequence of slow and steady movements, conscious breathing, and relaxation designed to cultivate deep happiness and inner peace. This holistic practice develops physical alignment, strength, flexibility, balance, and steadiness of mind.
It consists of 12 asanas (yoga postures) that correspond with the chakras or energetic centers throughout the body. Pranayama (breath control) is performed in order to achieve a purer understanding of self and ground the mind.

An Introduction to Tibetan Yoga | Breath and Movement for Health and Wellbeing
A donations-based class on Monday, February 16th at 6:00 PM, to support The Children's Cancer Fund of New Mexico. Spaces are limited. Advance registration is required.
Breath and movement, when combined with clear and focused attention, are powerful tools for bringing balance and harmony into our life. United, they strengthen our life-force and calm the mind. Releasing all effort after each movement we touch our inner stillness and silence.
In this workshop our focus will be the Nine Breaths of Purification and the five tsa lung (channel and wind) exercises. The Nine Breaths of Purification clears blockages related to anger, attachment and ignorance, freeing our energies for more constructive purposes. Tsa Lung exercises help us to clear disturbing emotions and energetic imbalances of body and mind that prevent us from fully expressing the positive qualities of love, compassion, joy and equanimity in our lives.
These practices ask us to truly hear the subtle conversations taking place in our mind and to feel the ways in which they manifest in our body. Then, without analyzing or rejecting those feelings we allow them to self-liberate, leaving our hearts and minds more spacious and clear.
